Brook Wirral - refurbishments during March 2020
04 March 2020
Brook Wirral is being refurbished to provide a new and improved waiting area for local young people.
The team at Brook is responding to feedback from local young people and will be improving their waiting areas in the Birkenhead town centre venue this month (March 2020).
The new look waiting room will be modern, bright and fresh, whist continuing to provide a safe and confidential space for young people to access sexual health and contraception services and care.
To allow for this work to be completed as quickly as possible, and with little disruption to the busy daily clinics the following clinic will be closed all day:
- Saturday 21 March 2020
Alternative Saturday clinic
The Sexual Health Wirral clinic at Arrowe Park Hospital will continue to run every Saturday, 10.00am - 1.00pm. The clinic operates on a walk-in basis so no appointment is needed - please note these clinics are for people of all ages. Download the clinic timetable.
Weekday clinics at Brook will be unaffected during the refurbishment. Clinics will continue to run Mon – Fri, 3.00pm - 6.30pm.
The team at Brook is looking forward to welcoming young people aged 19 and under to their new waiting rooms in April 2020.
