If you’re being treated for an STI your partner should be too…
14 March 2018
If you are found to have an STI it's important that any sexual partners are also treated or you risk becoming re-infected after you have received treatment.
If possible, tell your sexual partner and any ex-partners so they can get tested and treated as well. Sexually transmitted infections (STIs) can cause serious health problems if untreated, so it's important everyone who may have been at risk is treated.
If you don't want to do this, our team can do it for you – it's called 'partner notification' and we won't reveal who you are.
