Online Services - clinic appointment and telephone online bookings are suspended until further notice.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

Due to the changing nature of COVID-19 and our commitment to keeping people as safe as possible we have suspended online booking.

You can still order a free online postal STI test kit (aged 16+ and live in Wirral)

Clinic changes - important information as of Monday 23 March 2020

Due to the changing nature of COVID-19 and our commitment to keeping people as safe as possible, our walk-in and wait clinics are temporarily suspended

Clinic appointments will only be allocated following a telephone assessment. This enables us to provide care to those most in need of sexual health or contraception services and reduce the amount of people in the waiting room.

Clinic location:

All clinics, excluding our Brook clinics, are now running from the Gemini Centre at St Catherine's Health Centre

Opening times:

Monday - Friday, 10.00am - 6.00pm

Telephone assessment:

Please call 0300 123 5474. During this call you will speak to one of our clinicians who will triage and assess your needs. You will then be provided with advice, signposted accordingly or we will make you an appointment at one of our clinics at the Gemini Centre.

Please do not turn up to clinic unless you have called us in advance and spoken to a clinician.

Young person clinics at Brook Wirral

These clinics are also now appointment only - this is to reduce the amount of people in the waiting room. The clinic timetable remains the same. To book an appointment call 0151 670 0177.

Before attending your appointment:

Firstly make sure you are well enough to attend.

Follow the government issued guidance on staying at home if you have possible coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms:

  • a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back (you do not need to measure your temperature)
  • a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in 24 hours (if you usually have a cough, it may be worse than usual)
  • a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you've noticed you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

You must not attend your appointment if you have any of the above symptoms.

Upon arrival you will be asked to speak to our receptionist who will ask how you are feeling. This is to ensure you are well and aren’t showing any of the above symptoms.
