We provide treatment, advice and assessments relating to:

  • specialist contraception service for individuals with complex needs
  • pregnancy testing
  • pregnancy advice
  • referral for abortion
  • information and testing for sexually transmitted infections (STIs)
  • chlamydia and gonorrhea testing
  • National Chlamydia Screening Programme (15 - 24 year olds)
  • psychosexual counselling and specialist services

How do I get advice, treatment and support?

Our free, confidential, friendly and supportive services can be accessed by drop-in or appointment at one of our clinics, which offer daytime, evening and weekend sessions at 5 convenient community locations across Wirral.

All of our clinics offer:

  • interpreters are available upon request
  • discreet and confidential service
  • same sex clinics available at some locations - download our timetable

If you are aged 19 or under you can also access our young people's clinic which offers confidential help, advice and services for young people.

Please note: As we operate on a walk in basis we cannot plan for how busy our clinics will be. At times of high activity it may be necessary to move to a triage process, which will mean we can only see people who require urgent care and attention. A clinician will make this decision.

If you arrive at a clinic that has ‘moved to triage’ we will ask you what it is you are attending for. This is to help reduce excessive waiting times.
